Update to Assessment and Counseling Services – March 22, 2020
During these challenging times, our primary concern is the physical and mental well-being of our clients
and partners. The services we provide are considered ‘critical and essential’ as defined by Federal
Guidelines, and as such, we have developed a policy to continue to deliver assessment and counseling
services via remote telehealth methods.
All appointments for groups and 1:1 counseling sessions will take place as scheduled via the Zoom
Conferencing app, Skype app and/or traditional phone calls. A member of the ACS staff will be
contacting you with specific details for all scheduled appointments. We will have limited office hours for
tasks/services which can only take place in person. We ask that you call 314-849-2800 prior to visiting
our office in efforts to adhere to the limits on group sizes.
Please remain vigilant about staying healthy and please reflect on your strengths. Utilize online resources
to access recovery-oriented literature, recovery tasks and meetings. We will continue to adapt to the
current environment and will be available to assist in any way possible. Thank you for your continued
support.
Sincerely,
Bill Sunderman and all of the ACS Staff
